Hangin' Tough

So, you know what's awesome? Being busted listening to New Kids on the Block, at the gym.

There I was minding my own business, stretching on the mats. I foolishly forgot to change the settings on my new ipod thus allowing factory settings to keep my screen lit for an ENTIRE minute! This gave ample time for the hottie college boy beside me to look down and say the following.

HCB: Are you seriously listenting to KNOTB?

ME: (shifty eyes) Pffftt....noo....well....yes, but I'm listening to them... ironically....I mean....

HCB: (not convinced) Uh huh. So you're a fan?

ME: When I was, like, 10 maybe.

HCB: OK, so you're not a fan but you like them enough to buy them on itunes, add them to your ipod and listen to them at the gym. I mean, you're actually get pumped up listening to... (glances down at my ipod again).... You've got the right stuff?

Like I said, busted.

OMG!! Mark Walburg looks like such a nerd. Good thing he grew out of that phase. Such a hottie. I love to listen to music I grew up with - they actually played Ice Ice Babe on the radio the other day and YES I sang along. So what happened after you told the guy you were in fact listening to NKOTB, did he split or still continue to hit on you???
