I think Catholics got a good thing going for them. Personally, I think confession is great. I bet most people come out feeling like a ton of weight has been lifted off their shoulders.
I'd like to do something similar. Maybe not quite as serious but of the same nature. I'd like to confess some things about myself. Things that I'm not entirely proud of but have accepted that they are part of who I am.
I'll never wash my brand new clothes before wearing them.
I'll probably never truly appreciate football.
I'll never be good at math.
I rarely remember to bring my reusable bags to the grocery store. Sorry.
I am determined to always have the last word.
I don't think I have what it takes to be a stay-at-home-mom and therefore will most likely put my children in daycare of hire a nanny.
I'll never have a greenthumb.
If it doesn't come in a freezer bag, can or jar - we probably won't be eating it for dinner.
I'll never be the soccer mom who always looks perfect in her Northface jacket and skinny jeans. In fact, after rushing around the house looking for shin guards and cleats - I'm lucky if I have time to brush my hair.
I'll never like mushrooms or brussels sprouts.
I am not a patient person.
I'll probably never switch from white wine to red.
I hate yoga, pilates and any other form of exercise that involves "finding my center".
As I mentioned before, I am not exactly proud of everything I've listed. Some, I've accepted and some, I work tirelessly on trying to change (It's not easy being a stepmom to three children when you lack the gift of patience).
There's more...But for now, that's my confession.
Can we still be friends?

I've signed up for photography classes! I'm gunna do this!
1. You're crazy. Brussel sprouts are delicious.
2. Im sure you could pull off the skinny jeans/North face look.

I never wash my new clothes either.
I have 2 reuseable bags in my car and somehow forget them everytime.
I killed a cactus that was a gift to me. I am doomed.
We can still be friends.

1. Nope, can't do that... They go into the drawer or hung up with tags still on them until I feel like wearing them...
2. I never can understand or fallow a game.
3. 2+3=23 right?
4. Ok, this one I am good at, since my commissary no longer has paper bags, and I buy way too much for plastic bags to work.
5. I will walk away and never hear that last word =)
6. I thought that too... I haven't been back to work in 6 years.... yikes!
7. I killed a cactus too!
8. He is the cook, not me!
9. And 90% of the mom's in youngest's Kindergarten class are! I am so the odd ball in my gamer shirt and jeans.
10. If I don't know the mushrooms are there, i will eat them, everything else, YUCK!
11. I am soooo not patient!
12. I do like both, but they have to be sweet!
13. I love Yoga, Pilates are interesting, but I prefer to do it alone, so meet up after the work out? LOL

Namaste.
Ugh.
Savasana is the only pose I like. And that's because it involves lying on the ground like you're sleeping. Hence "corpse pose".

We are all human! and you forgetting your reusable bags makes me feel a little bit better for forgettin' mine. No one is perfect =)

If it makes you feel any better, I share at least half of those things with you. And don't feel bad about not doing the stay at home mom thing: it is very much not for everyone. I'd have had a nervous breakdown by Freya's six month anniversary. Literally. Work saves my sanity.
